Pictures from past ABFMP Mixers

Every year we, at the ABFMP, work hard to create an event during the American Academy of Family Physicians Future Conference that brings together Underrepresented Family Medicine students, residents, and attendings from around the country in a safe space where they can socialize and network over good food, games, music, and giveaways. We host this event because we believe that as a community unit we can go much further than we could ever go alone. So far, each year, we have managed to do this without charging our attendees a cent. This is in great part thanks to our sponsors (see this year's sponsors below) who donated the funds to host the event as well as provided giveaways to enrich the career paths of our attendees. We are forever grateful for their contributions as they help us to endeavor to reach our vision, that all Black medical students and physicians will be adequately supported and represented within Family Medicine.

Rachel Aideyan, (Fourth year medical student), Administrative Coordinator
